i hit my coworkers shoulder lightly and he was like “you’re going to make me cry like a girl” and i was like “what’s wrong with being a girl?” and he was quiet for a moment then he looked into the distance and whispered “the social standards they’re forced to live by”

Day 15: Hero/Heroine
Hero: Thorin, Thorin saw through his greed, even though he was at his last few breaths, saying “If more of us valued food and cheer and song above hoarded gold, it would be a merrier world.”
Heroine: Tris, she looked at Four as her equal, and thats important to me in a relationship and life in general.
Witnesses say they asked Britney why she shaved her head and her response was, “I’m tired of plugging things into it. I’m tired of people touching me.”
i can never not reblog this
T-Pain: “That was the most beautiful thing in the world. Do you know why she was shaving her head? Because it was so important to other people. She is like, “Listen. Don’t touch my hair anymore. Stop touching my hair.” People were like, “We’ve got to make your hair before you go outside. You can’t leave.” She went … “Now I don’t have hair. What you going to do?”
The older I get the more her breakdown seems less ‘unbalanced’ and more ‘completely understandable’
I sincerely regret making fun of her and laughing about this. I wish we had all been like, “Wow, it’s disgusting that she’s been pushed to the breaking point. It’s disgusting that people treated her body like public property.”
Shit. This is actually really sad.
I can kinda hear the blast in my head when they collide.
Sound doesn’t travel in space. You wouldn’t hear a thing.
then how the fuck do you explain all the sounds in star wars checkmate motherfucker
Many have asked if we will be doing SOCKTOBER again this year.
This is the door to a house you helped build thanks to your hard work, donations, and support. Last week for the first time a single-mother who had been living on the streets with her three kids got to walk through this door and have a place to stay. In addition to helping support this house in Little Rock, Arkansas you helped us activate over 1 million people in serving their neighbors who are homeless in communities all over the world!
Will we be doing SOCKTOBER again? You better believe it.
